Panchatantra for Grown-ups Part One

Panchatantra for Grown-ups Part One Review

Panchatantra has been acclaimed as a great book for children largely because the characters in it are mostly animals; but the wisdom contained in it is for men of all ages. It does not deal with ideals and philosophy but with aspects of real life in a social environment. The stories contained in it relate to situations encountered in life and show a moral but pragmatic approach to successful and prosperous life avoiding the pitfalls. Even though the book was written more than two thousand years ago in an ancient culture the ideas and wisdom expressed through most of the stories transcend time and culture.
